I started my Own Ebook Website this year because I have a passion for books.

I have many interetsing books to read and want to be able to share these with as many people as possible.

I know they say you have to Link Build but again it's about quality and understanding who to link with.

Does anyone have any ideas on how best to filter out the good link sites from the bad. And also to ensure I'm not just building links for the sake of it.
How does a potential customer get to find out which of the Ebook sellers is offering real quality Ebooks?
What's the best way of drawing attention to the customer so they can quickly pinpoint the right book for them?

By this I mean the incredable situation where books are available in the States but not in the UK and MAY never be if the particular UK publisher does not supply e-books!

I have recently bought e-readers for my wife and myself, only to find not only is the market fragmented by various formats adobe DRM epub, Amazon etc, but it's also fragmented by location!

If there was ever a reciept for the death of a technology then e-books has it in spades.

Perhaps authors should insist on their title being available in e-book format if nothing more than to see the potential market for their labours be increased.

Sorry for the rant but I am close to returning both e-book readers and drawing line under this sorry adventure until the market resolves itself to becoming customer focused rather than producer protected.

Publishers wake up this is the age of global markets the time for village stalls is passed, as are you unless you grow up.

Hi, I'm new to ebooks and this forum. I stumbled on ebooks and have some to read on my PC using the Windows Reader software. (.lit) and Adobe Reader (.pdf)

I see several handheld, book style, devices apparently available on the US market but nothing similar available here. Is that right?

I am really keen on having a handheld device, preferably of the paperback size, can you tell me what is available and what format is the most practical? Is the blackberry range worth considering?
